Sunday Verses From The Heart
Do you sometimes pray and pray about certain things in your life and hope God will reveal himself quickly or easily to help you within those situations? I tend to have trouble listening...It's hard to listen for the things we sometimes don't necessarily want to hear. We may be praying about them, hoping for a certain result, but to be fully open to what God has to say may not always be what we want to hear. That's where I have my biggest struggle. I have to learn to be more open and willing to listen at all times to what God is trying to tell me regardless of what I think. He has strategically put every obstacle in our paths, but it's also our job to listen and be diligent in our walk.
“My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.”
