Happy Father's Day! Yes, I'm wishing a Happy Father's Day to all you wonderful fathers out there, but most importantly, to the Holy Father, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We are ALL so lucky that no matter who we are, we have a loving Father in Jesus by our sides to love us, guide us, comfort us, and keep us safe.
I recently started a new devotional called New Morning Mercies by Paul David Tripp and I can't tell you how much closer I feel to the Lord already just by taking time each morning and spending it with my spiritual Father. It has made my days clearer, made me thirst for more and made my soul cleaner. I've been praying for God to work with me on my day-to-day Bible studies, and He opened this door for me and has led me in this wonderful direction. That's love, and that's what Father's do.
